Oh, He Knows!

We all sin and we all make mistakes.

I sin willfully and so do you.

Some of my sins people see, and some of them they don’t!

For you see there are times I sin in my thinking!

Bad thoughts may come and go but those thoughts only become sin when you dwell on them and I’ve done plenty of that.

The Bible says we should take all thoughts captive and give them to The Lord.

Other folks may not know the thoughts you are thinking but God does.

John 2:25 says, “Jesus needed not that any should testify of man, for he knew what was in man!”

Be blessed this fine day y’all!

Total Obedience

(Total Obedience) Spiritually, there is no such thing as partial commitment. We either obey God or we rebel against Him. Sincerity, hard work, good deeds, even sacrifice cannot substitute for obedience. I Samuel 15:22, David Smith, Patterson, GA

Once Upon A Time!

Once Upon a time there was a leper. This man went to Jesus and he was healed.

Jesus told this man to tell no one.

This man did not obey the Lord, he went out and told everyone.

Because of this Jesus could not enter into the city, but had to withdraw to the desert!

The Lord told him not to tell anybody and he told everybody.

The Lord tells us to tell everybody and we tell nobody.

My question to you is, “Which is worse?”

In Our Own Eyes!

(In Our On Eyes) We constantly deceive ourselves. We view our actions in the best possible light and we overestimate the purity of our motives. But God knows us exactly as we are. We must stay close to Him if we are to truly understand ourselves. PROVERBS 16:2, David Smith, Patterson, GA

Other Failed, He Did Not!

When we look back in scripture we see that all great men of God had come under temptation and they had failed miserably!

Adam failed. Noah made it through the flood and fell on his face. Abraham and Moses failed. King David fell because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time!

Temptation got em all and temptation has gotten us to. As a matter a fact, some of you will surrender to it today if you haven’t already!

Only one never gave in and that one is our Lord Jesus Christ!

Be blessed y’all!

Depend On God!

Deuteronomy 8:2, God wants His people to remain dependant upon Him, so we will acknowledge our needs and cry out to Him. Self-sufficiency is a trap, leading to pride and arrogance. We must always remember that our good fortune is nothing more than His blessing. David Smith, Patterson, GA

Fear or Faith?

Fear or Faith? Luke 8:37, Revering God is not the same thing as believing in Him. Many hold great respect for Christ yet they refuse to put their trust in Him.

Why?

Why?

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

I believe with all my heart this was the worst time for Him on the cross! God the Father turned His back on His Son when He became sin for us!

You see, when our sin was placed on Jesus, God had to withdraw, and this answers the question, Why?

Be blessed y’all! I’ll cya here, there, or in the air!

Even When I Mess Up, Can God Use Me?

Some Christians fall into sin and they really blow it boy.

Some ask the question, “Can God use me again?” The answer is, most definitely!

Peter denied Jesus three times just like Jesus said he would!

Peter did repent and come back into fellowship with the Lord he loved.

For you see, it was Peter who preached the very first sermon, and three thousand people were saved!

Yes, you can mess up and still be used by God after you repent.

What A Lesson For Us!

Jesus had preached all day in the synagogue and then he went to the house of Peter’s mother-in-law.

Peter’s wife’s mother was sick so Jesus took her by the hand and lifted her up and she was healed.

That day he healed and cast out demons way after the sun had set.

The next morning He got up way before daylight and went out to a solitary place to pray!

What a lesson this is for us!
