Looking!

What are you looking for in life? A spouse, a better job, a new car, a nicer home, or happiness!

Titus 2:13 tells us what we are to be looking for.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ!

When you look for Him daily in the scriptures you will find Him and He will most definitely provide all your needs which in turn should make you happy, happy, happy!

Don’t Fight City Hall!

Don’t fight city hall, join it! What this means is that we should do what everyone else does Christians.

We should sin when we wanna sin because everyone else is. Don’t fight the temptation, go with the flow.

Of course, you know this way of thinking for a child of God is absolutely preposterous, for we are bought with a price, therefore, we should glorify God in our bodies!

We should oppose all that is evil and live our lives according to scripture!

Filled With The Spirit!

(Filled and Led) Luke 4:1&2, Those who are filled with the Spirit will also be led by the Spirit. The Spirit may lead believers to difficult or dangerous places, but His presence assures His protection and His provision for any circumstance.

The Stone!

Matthew 28:2, And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

The angel came not to let Jesus out, for He was already gone, the tomb was opened to let them in!

Because of what Jesus did we have entrance into heaven. All ya gotta do is place your faith in Him and you to will be saved, for Jesus is the key to getting into heaven!

Keeping The Word!

Luke 11:27-28, As He spoke a certain women from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him: “Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts which nursed You !” But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” David Smith, Patterson, GA

They’re Angels

Robin and I have seven grandchildren whom we love dearly. I’ve heard grandparents talk about their grandkids like they’re a bunch of angels.

I’ve got some shocking news for ya, they’re not. They have the same rotten attitude as I do at times and the only thing that’s gonna change that is them accepting Jesus into their hearts.

You see you can no more sweeten human character with training and psychology and education than you can sweeten a pile of fertilizer out of the barnyard with Brut or Chanel No. 5.

The only way to sweeten human character is to give your life to Jesus!

Been There and Done That!

Matthew 20:20, Then came to Him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping Him, and desiring a certain thing.

Here mama comes along with her two babies worshipping Him which is not bad at all.

What’s bad is their motive! They didn’t come worshipping Him because of who He was, they came worshipping Him because they wanted something in return.

What Keeps You From Jesus?

The rich young ruler didn’t accept Jesus because he was rolling in doe. He had all he needed, a fine home, clothes, food, land and cattle.

Church membership keeps some from knowing the Lord. They think since their name is on a church roll they’ll make it to heaven. The only way to heaven is Jesus y’all!

People who truly know the Lord also allows things to stand in the way of them getting closer to Him.

It may be a job, school, sports, family, or laziness. Whatever keeps you from spending time with him you need to give it up and make sure you have a Quiet Time Daily.

Y’all Be Blessed!

Blessing

(Blessing) There is no greater gift we can give someone than our blessing. Truly wishing God’s best for others and verbally assuring them of our desire refreshes the soul and gives courage and strength to those we bless. David Smith, Patterson, GA
