He Can Use You!

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And He said to them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men and they left their nets immediately and followed Him!

Jesus called imperfect men to do the ministry!

Since He did that, certainly He can use imperfect people like me and you in this day and time!

The key is, they were willing to forsake everything and they immediately obeyed!

Y’all be blessed this fine day!

Defilement From Within!

Matthew 15:10 & 11, When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them. “Hear and understand: (11) Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

Why Ya Need God’s Word!

Jesus was tempted in the wilderness after He had fasted for forty days and forty nights!

Every time Satan tempted Him Jesus answered by giving the Word of God!

I believe that Gods Word has the answers to all our problems!

And this is why we should know the Book better than we do!

We have no excuse to be ignorant of Gods Word!

This Is Fantastic For Us!

II Corinthians 5:21, “For he hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him”

There was sin on Him, but there was no sin in Him!

My sin and your sin was put on Him, but not in Him!

God loved us so much that He allowed His Son to become sin for us. If this doesn’t make you want to stand on your head for a while something’s wrong with ya!

Be blessed this fine day y’all!

Prayers of Blessing!

(Prayers of Blessing) Genesis 48:15, When we pray for God’s blessings on others we offer a prayer of commitment to God, a confession of faith, and a petition to God for His blessing. Those who have experience God’s blessings have a heartfelt desire for others to know the same joy. David Smith, Patterson, GA

Immediate Obedience All The Time!

Mary, the mother of Jesus was a wonderful woman but Joseph was a remarkable man!

Yesterday we talked about how Joseph immediately obeyed the angel of The Lord when he was told to take his family to Egypt! He didn’t hesitate, he simply did it!

Some years later the angel appeared to him again and told him to take his family into the land of Israel!

Scripture says he arose and took them there! No questions were asked, he simply did it!

This tells me that God wants us to obey Him immediately at all times throughout our lives!

We show our love to the Lord when we obey! Y’all be blessed!

Defeated and Discouraged!

Do you feel defeated and discouraged today?

You may be discouraged because you or someone you know might have bad health, or you may have lost a loved one!

You may not feel loved by your spouse or family members.

You may be overcome by some sinful habit, drinking, cussing, dishonesty, temper, sex or materialism!

Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world!”

Why don’t you give all your troubles to Jesus today and let Him take care of it for ya? Be blessed!

Preparation!

Mark 1:2, God sets the stage for His greatest works. Often He uses ordinary men and women to get our attention so we are prepared for what He is about to do. The messenger may be ordinary; but the message is divine.

Encouraging Words!

You need to be encouraged today? Why don’t you read these words written in Psalms 84:12, It says, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will be withheld from them that walk uprightly!” Be blessed!

Deceit

(Deceit) What we give to others God measures back to us, God is absolutely just. Rather than complaining to God about our situation, we might better ask what our circumstances reveal about our character.
