Sorrow and Pain!

I woke up early this morning to go to the restroom. As my feet hit the floor a sharp pain went surging down my leg.

Undoubtedly I’d slept wrong and a nerve was being pinched.

In heaven there’s not going to be any of that nonsense! No colds, no cancer, no heart problems and no more tears.

(Revelation 21:4) This life is filled with sorrow and pain. But we look toward the day when all things will be made new. A day is coming when suffering shall be forgotten and unimaginable joy will be our constant experience!

Y’all be blessed!

This Is The Way It Should Be!

In the Book of Malachi God says that Levi feared Him!

He says that the law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity or sin. Malachi 2:4-6

Think about it folks, the law of truth should be on our lips daily.

Nothing ungodly like gossip, dirty words, or mean things should come from our lips.

The things we say should uplift others and point people to Jesus.

I’ll have to admit, my lips aren’t there yet!

Filthy Rags!

(Filthy Garments) Zechariah 3:4, We cannot hide our sins from God. They are as obvious to Him as filthy garments. He offers to cleanse us and to clothe us in new robes of righteousness. David Smith, Patterson, GA

He Wants The Very Best!

God wants the very best from us! He’s not satisfied with anything less.

If we’re not doing the very best for Him in going to church, witnessing, or giving it is sin.

Let me give you an example! The children of God in Malachi was bringing blind and sick animals to the altar to sacrifice.

God had told them this was not acceptable but they did it anyway.

What God wanted from them was the healthy animals. He wanted their best and that’s what He wants from me and you.

He wants our best when we pray, read the Bible, witness, give, and worship.

Be blessed this fine day and remember to give God what He deserves!

Called, Chosen, and Faithful!

(Called, Chosen, Faithful) Revelation 17:14, Even in history’s darkest moments God’s purposes prevail and God’s people remain faithful. A day is coming when the loyalty of those God has called will be revealed and their suffering will be rewarded. David Smith, Patterson, GA

His Messenger!

His Messenger!

This morning I started reading the the Book of Malachi.

The name Malachi means messenger!

He is the mailman of that day and he is to deliver a message to Israel.

Did you know that if you’re a Christian you to are a mailman, and your message is to tell others about Jesus.

We are to deliver this message to others in our homes, schools, and businesses!

We are to deliver this message to all people everywhere.

Many people wonder what God wants them to do after they’ve been saved.

God says in Matthew we are to go and share the good news with others.

It’s simple, we are to be a bunch of messengers! Be blessed.

He’s On His Throne!

As we see the things that are happening in this world it would be easy for us to deceive ourselves into thinking that God is not in control.

I’m here to tell ya, in the midst of ungodliness God is still on His throne and He’s definitely in control! Knowing this fact should give Christians a peace that passes all understanding!

I want to share with you below what a friend sent me this morning.

(Wait Before God) Habakkuk 2:20, God is on His throne. His purposes continue to unfold as He has planned. Who are we to instruct Him? How could we presume to tell Him what He should do? We must wait silently before Him to hear what He has to say next. His WORD is our life. David Smith, Patterson, GA

Heart Disease!

I have heart disease and so does my brother! My dad had it and so did my uncles. God simply chose to bless the Wright boys with this disease!

As I pondered this fact God reminded me that every person on the face of Gods green earth has heart disease and they inherited it from Adam and Eve.

Medicines can’t treat it and surgery can’t take it away!

The only one that can cure this heart disease caused by sin is the one who was born of a virgin, died on a cross, and on the third day rose from the grave!

We know Him as Jesus, the Great Physician!

Here, there, or in the air!

It Should Break Our Hearts!

I’m a sinner! I sin everyday and most of the time I know it! Shoot, there are times I plan out my sin, don’t you?

I’m an old, rotten, dirty sinner in His sight and some of the good things I do is bad to Him!

He says that my righteousness is like filthy rags.

If we could see ourselves as God sees us we wouldn’t even like ourselves.

Knowing this should break our hearts and drive us to my knees in repentance!

It should, but it does not! Repent ye therefore and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord!

When He Appears!

(When He Appears) 1John 2:29, The Lord will return one day to gather those who have been born into the family of God. Do you have a family resemblance? Will you be prepare to face Him with assurance on that day?
