We as Christians have a tendency to argue with God don’t we?
I’ll have to be honest, I’ve had many debates with Him and I’ve lost everyone!
Instead of arguing why don’t we simply give in and be obedient? After all, obedience is what He desires from you and me!
(Him Who Walks Uprightly) God’s word brings blessing and strength to the righteous, and they gladly receive it. Those who resist or argue with God reveal hearts that are far from Him.

My wife is taking me to the Spurs/OKC Thunder game Saturday night in San Antonio!
It has been confirmed. I just received the tickets by email!
Do you have your ticket to heaven? If you know Jesus you do.
Our confirmation is the fact that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and on the third day rose from the grave!
And right now, Jesus is in heaven rooting for you. He’s praying for you daily, and He’s praying that you’ll make the right choices so that others can see Him in you!
Let’s praise God this fine day for Jesus who is our ticket to eternal life
Yesterday while at church Pastor Steve talked about having joy in our lives even when we’re going through difficult circumstances
He talked about us being a Bah Humbug person or a Joyful one!
The Apostle Paul was beaten within an inch of his life but he could say, “Rejoice in The Lord always, again I say rejoice.”
Being a Bah Humbug person or a Joyful one is your choice!
Being a Joyful person magnifies The Lord in your life, the other one does exactly the opposite!

I read this during my QT this morning and wanted to share it with you.
The Lord Jesus made a very startling statement when He called Himself a stone!
“….whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”
What happens to a person in eternity depends on their relationship to the stone.
You can fall on it or it can fall on you!
You can receive Jesus Christ and be saved once you realize your need for Him or you can reject Him.
If you receive Him you can trust Him to take care of you and you can always fall on Him!
If a person choses to reject Him He will become the stone that will fall on you and grind you to powder!
In other words, He will become your judge!

It is tragic when the very blessings God showers upon us become snares that capture our love and attention and draw us away from Him. Hosea 2:12
I remember me allowing football to take the place of God!
God had blessed me with a little talent but He’d also given a lot if heart!
My attitude was this, there’s no way anyone that lines up in front of me is going to sack the quarterback or tackle the running back!
This was a good attitude to have but it became an obsession with me!
Because of this nothing else mattered! All I did year round was think about football!
Of course I forgot about God in the mix which should have been top priority!
It’s true, sometimes the good things God gives us becomes a trap or snare!
Keep your eyes on Jesus my friends!
Men, have you ever gone to the store and bought flowers for your wife?
You bring those flowers home, put them in a vase and place them on a table.
Your wife walks in hours later and sees those flowers. She comes to you, puts her arms around you and gives you a hug and a kiss!
To her, at that time, those flowers are like a precious jewel!
This morning I found a jewel in my Bible that Robin had placed there years ago!
It is Colossians 3:10 which says, “And have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the one who created Him.”
Have you been washed in the blood of the Lamb, and if you have, are you becoming more like Him daily?
We have problems in this country and every politician who runs for office thinks he has the solution!
Let me tell ya something, Wallace, Nixon, Carter, Bush or Obama didn’t and don’t have the solution, but the Word of God does!
Isaiah 57:21 says, “There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.”
Here’s The Solution! This country needs to get God back into the picture today. We need to turn to Him!
The answer is as simple as the nose attached to the front of your face!

I’ve seen kids ignore their parents! I saw one little boy who was being a pain pull his shoulder away from his dad when he touched him!
The dad did nothing! What he should have done was touched him on his blessed assurance!
Don’t we as Christians do God the same way?
God is touching some of His people on the shoulder and saying, “Don’t do that! Don’t live that kind of life!”
And what do we do? We pull our shoulder away and we put our fingers in our ears because we don’t want to hear what God says!
May God Continue To Have Mercy On Us, And May We Start Being Faithful And Obedient!
My Jesus I love thee, I know Thou art mine,
For Thee all the follies of sin I resign; My gracious Redeemer, my Saviour art Thou;
If ever I love Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
Do you know Jesus for sure? Is there any doubts?
Have you confessed your sins to Him and asked Him to save you?
If you have, “Do you love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind?”
It’s good for us to ask ourselves these questions.
Scripture says that we should examine ourselves to see if we’re in the faith!

I found out yesterday that a friend of mine who is a minister is losing his job soon!
He doesn’t know where he’s going or how he’s going to make a living for his family!
I told him that this didn’t take God by surprise and that God would take care of him and his family!
I told him to expect great things from God during this time! After all, if God takes care of a little sparrow daily He will take care of us!
(Our God Is Able) Daniel 3:17, As we face life’s challenges, do we believe God is able to meet our every need? Nothing is impossible for Him. He will intervene on our behalf at any moment. The question is: Do we live like we believe this truth?
