I heard a young person make this statement, “I’ll forgive but I want forget!”

Well, if that’s the way they feel they’re not forgiving at all!

You see, when a you and I forgive someone of a wrong there should be no animosity!

Forgive and forget is the principal!

Harboring hatred and sinful feelings only gives the devil an advantage in our lives!

Friends, we should be willing to forgive and forget if the person who has wronged us has asked for forgiveness!

1 Peter 2:1 says, “Wherefore, lay aside all malice….”

Do you, or have you ever doubted your salvation?

Some people doubt all the time and this has to be very frustrating!

There are two reasons people doubt their salvation! They’ve never been saved or their living in sin!

Let me tell ya how you can know beyond a shadow of a doubt if you’ve been saved!

Ephesians 4:20 says, “If so be that you have heard Him, as the truth is in Jesus”

If Jesus is your Lord that means you are one of His sheep and you listen to Him!

Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me!”

Those who are His sheep will hear Him and obey, and those who are not His sheep will not hear Him!

This past weekend I was at First Baptist Church in Belen, New Mexico!

On Friday night there was an outdoor event called “The Taste of Belen” and the entire community was invited!

I lead the folks in Grin Again Gang and told the story of Jonah in the Whale from inside a black balloon!

During the invitation we had 15 to 20 people make a decision for our Lord!

On Sunday morning I talked about how God wants to do a miracle in your heart and life!

During the invitation over 40 people walked the aisle and 4 or 5 of those were professions of faith!

I thank you all once again for remembering me in your prayers as I travel throughout this great country God has given us to live in!

What would you say is the greatest sin in the church today?

Some would say adultery! How about gossip? Others might say anger or pride!

I think the greatest sin today in the church is the ignorance of the man sitting on the pew!

He/she doesn’t know the word of God and that’s a tragedy!

This is the condition of most of our churches today and that’s why many of them are crashing and burning!

Shoot, that’s why most Christians crash and burn! They think they know it all, and in fact they know very little!

Every believer needs to be trained in the Word of God so that they can do the work of the ministry!

Ephesians 4:2, With all lowliness and meekness…….

We need to walk in lowliness of mind!

Many people think that meekness translates to weakness! This is definitely not the case!

There are two men in scripture who are noted for being meek! One was Moses and the other was Jesus!

The bible calls meekness a willingness to stand and do the will of God regardless of the cost!

Meekness is bowing yourself to the will of God! J. Vernon McGee

This morning I get on a plane and fly to Belen, New Mexico!

I will be serving at First Baptist Church tomorrow and Sunday Morning!

I will fly home Sunday afternoon, be home Monday and then drive to Georgia on Tuesday!

I will be in Georgia for seven weeks before I come home the first of November!

Ephesians 4:2-3 With all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace!

Lowliness should characterize a Christian man or woman, for that is what characterize our Lord!

Jesus said, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly of heart…….”

When ya go to church today and your toes gets stepped on from the preaching of God’s Word don’t get upset!

You need to rejoice when God uses His man to convict you of sin in your life!

You see, the believer is to follow the truth in love, that is, he is to love the truth, live it, and speak it!

Ya wanna act like Jesus, talk like Jesus, think like Jesus, walk like Jesus, and do the things Jesus did?

If ya do, then ya gotta spend time with Jesus daily by reading His Word, the Bible!

But if we walk in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin!

Walking in the light is in the light of the Word of God! The key is, “How much time do you spend reading Gods Word Daily?”

We hear so much today about commitment to Christ!

Let’s be honest, you and I have very little to commit to Him!

We are to respond in love to Him! We love Him because He first loved us!

We should serve Him, not out of selfish ambition, but because of what He did for us on the cross at Calvary!

Today, let’s serve our Lord with gladness!
