What Is Life?

They say it’s between B and D, Birth and Death.

But what about the letter C between B and D?

The letter C stands for choices.

The Best Choice You’ll Ever Make In Life Is To Accept Jesus Christ As Your Lord And Savior.

Have You Done That Today My Friend? Some Of You Need To Ponder Over This Question, But Don’t Ponder To Long!

Excuses!

I’m to busy. I’ll be late. I didn’t hear the alarm clock. I need to shave and take a bath. I didn’t sleep well last night.

All of the excuses above are things I once used to excuse myself of having a Quiet Time, or spending time with the Lord before I left the house in the morning.

Excuses simply keep you from getting to know the one who created you better.

I’m here to tell ya, it’s just not worth it my friends.

The Feeling Of Being Alone Is A Terrible Thing!

Have you every felt alone? Have you every felt like no one else cared? You may be having some of those feelings today. You may feel like no one gives a rip about you. Well, I have some good news for ya. You’re never alone even though you may feel like it.

Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

The One who knows you inside and out will always be there. He’ll never leave you nor forsake you!

Preach It!

Pastors, for a man, woman, boy or girl to be saved you have to preach the Word of God. A person is saved by hearing the Word. Psalms 119:130, The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

Some folks turn to drugs and alcohol when they get down in the dumps. Some folks worry and fret. Why not give this a shot?

I Peter 5:7, Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

My Friend, Pastor Dick Knox!

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

I saw this take place in the life of my good friend, Dick Knox. His health was taken away and his body was being destroyed by the cancer from within, but this man never lost heart.

What an example he was to me and others who knew him! We were blessed by the life of this man!

Miss Teamie!

I have a dear friend who lives in Georgia who I call Miss Teamie. Miss Teamie is 94 years old and she’s not doing very well at all. Her family has been advised by the doctor to put her on hospice. Miss Teamie most definitely knows the Lord and she knows she’s heaven bound. Miss Teamie always showed kindness to me as I worked for her husband in the tobacco patch. The Lord always used this dear lady to encourage me!

Please pray for her and her family. I know they’d appreciate it. Here, there, or in the air!

The Rock Never Trembles!

Fear, we all know what that is. We hear a sound in the night and fear surges through our bodies. We have a house payment nearing and we don’t have the money to pay it and fear makes itself known. Many folks have a fear of the future and of death!

The Lord says, “Fear though not for I am with thee.”

Once upon a time there was a lady who was speaking with great assurance about her salvation. A friend said, “You act as if you are safe and secure on a rock.” She said, “I am. Sometimes I do tremble on the Rock, but the Rock never trembles under me.”

That Rock Is Jesus My Friends!
