I remember watching the Little Rascals on TV growing up. I remember this one episode when the boys had created a club and to get into the club house you had to give a certain password. If you didn’t know the password you couldn’t come in and you were left out in the cold. By the way, in the club, girls were not allowed! Sorry!

I’m so glad that we don’t have to know a certain password to get into heaven, all we have to know is Jesus. The good news is, everyone is allowed, it doesn’t matter if you’re male, female, red, yellow, black, or white. If you know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour your gonna be there!

However, if you’ve never called upon the name of the Lord and been saved you’re not gonna be there, and you’re not gonna be left out in the cold, you’ll be place in a place of torment called hell!

It isn’t God’s desire that anyone die and go to hell. He’s provided a way out, and the way out is found only through His Son Jesus Christ! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me!”

Being a good person, being a church member, being baptized, being a good mom and dad ain’t gonna cut the mustard. You’ve gotta know Jesus!

On May 22nd I arrived at the Freedom Biker Church in Duncan, Oklahoma. As I arrived around 8:30 I noticed motorcyles everywhere. Men, women, boys and girls were just hanging out and enjoying each others company! Some people were dressed up, but most of them were in their jeans, leathers and vest. In other words they were dressed to ride!

The people there are fun loving and crazy. They picked on me and I picked right back. I will say, they started it!

Some of them have long hair, ear rings and tatoos. Some are former gang members and drug dealers but I felt the Holy Spirit in that place. It’s amazing what God can do with men and women when they surrender their lives to Him!

I started making balloons for the kids and I immediately knew I was going to have a good time with these folks. I fit right in, afterall, I’m an old country boy who rides a beautiful motorcycle!

After they introduced me I asked the people this question. I said, “If you ride a Harley, raise your hands!” Many hands went up and then I said, “So, you people believe in buying motorcycles that leak oil, I believe in buying Yamahas!”

During the invitation that morning 40 decisions were made for our Lord and 13 of those were salvations! When it was all said and done by Wednesday night there were 51 decisions made and 24 were professions of faith.

Pastor Billy made a comment and I’d like to share it with you. He said, “Bubba, you don’t lead people to the cross, you love em to the cross!” This is the approach the pastor and his people take and it’s working. The church was started less than three years ago and they’re growing by leaps and bounds! I do believe on any given Sunday there will be 500 t0 700 in attendance.

Our Lord showed up and the people responded. Let’s give God all the praise and glory for the things He’s doing in Duncan at the Freedom Biker Church!

This past Wednesday I was at the Freedom Biker Church in Duncan, OK. We were doing a children’s camp on 30 acres of land the church has purchased! On the last night I wanted to do something special for the parents and their kids.

They have a pond, so I thought we’d go down to the pond and blow one of my 72 inch balloons up and float on the water. We laid a blanket in the back of a  pick up truck and blew the balloon up.  I crawled in first, Billy Don crawled in next. Pastor Billy drove the truck down to the pond with the tailgate down. He backed the truck up into the pond and we rolled out bursting the balloon as we fell into the water.

Soaked and cover with mud we thought we’d give her another try. I’m thinking, there’s no way the balloon is going to hold together when we start crawling in because of all the mud on our bods. It was amazing, the balloon didn’t pop and we rolled right off into the water.

That balloon was filthy inside, mud everywhere, but on the outside, it was nice and clean. That’s exactly the way it is with people. They look nice and clean on the outside, but on the inside they’re filled with all kinds of junk that God’s Word calls sin!

No one knows what’s in the heart of man but God!  You can hide things from mom, dad, brothers, sisters and spouses, but you can’t hide it from the Lord. He sees all, hears all, and knows all!

As I was reading the Bible this morning I wondered by Christians don’t read God’s Word daily the way they should. I put myself in their place because it hasn’t been that long ago since I was there myself. Listed below is a few of my excuses!

One – I was down right lazy, I didn’t have the time and I didn’t take the time! It wasn’t important to me!  Two – God’s Word showed me sin in my life that  I needed to get rid of.  Three – God  showed me things through the reading of His Word that He wanted me to do!

You see, reading God’s Word is like eating a spoon full of honey, it taste good, but sometimes it becomes bittersweet, and it upsets us because we can’t stomach what it says!

 There was a man someplace, somewhere who predicted that today was the day the Lord was coming back! To tell you the truth, I laugh at people like that. They think they have some special connection with God and He’s let them in on that secret.

People who make predictions like that look down right foolish. They need to take a deep breath and study the scriptures more carefully.

It’s true, God is coming back one day and the Great Tribulation will take place, but the Bible says no one knows the date, time, or hour but the Father Himself! Don’t worry yourself about it, just be prepared and ready. When the Lord comes back I want to be doing those things that bring honor and glory to Him!

Matthew 24:36, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father!”

This past Monday I was at New Life Baptist Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma. The Pastor there is Brian Lewis and he’s doing a wonderful job. The church has only been in existance for about a year!

I was doing an Upwards Program for him and there was 160 to 165 in attendance. I did the sermon God’s given me using my blow dart gun. We talked about how God wants to destroy sin in our lives!

During the invitation 17 people made professions of faith and two of those were adults. I want to give God all the praise and glory for the things He’s doing through The Bubba Adventure.

I hear comments like the following all the time! We just finished paying our house off, and now it belongs to us! I just bought 20 acres of land and it’s mine, free and clear! Everything that we think we own really belongs to God. He just allows us to have it for a while!

The good health a person has comes from God. A good spouse and children come from the Father! The air that we breath comes from the One who gives life. Every heart beat that keeps blood coursing through our veins is provided from the One who created us! Everything we have is provided from above!

Let’s be good stewards of what God has given us. Let’s not become prideful and think it belongs to us, let’s be thankful that He’s loan it to us to enjoy! Psalms 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it!”FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailShare

Do you ever get irritated? Shoot, I do. I will have to admit, the closer I get to God and the older I get the less I get irritated.

I will tell you this, one thing that irritates me is when I call someone and ask them to call me back and they never do, and then, when you see them their excuse is, “I’ve been very busy!” I want to let you in on a secret, “We’re All Busy!”

Not returning someones call or text message is a sign of being lazy or being disrespectful! We need to stop making excuses and treat others the way we want to be treated. I know a man that neither slumbers nor sleeps because He has the whole world to look after, but He’s never to busy for me, and that man’s name is Jesus Christ. I can call on Him anytime, anywhere, and He’ll answer!

Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to me and I will ANSWER you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

This past Monday I was at New Life Church in Anadarko, OK with Pastor Brian Lewis doing an Upwards Ceremony. There were 160 to 165 in attendance. There were 17 professions of faith and two of those were adults. Let’s praise God for His mercy and grace!

Grudges, we’ve all had em and held em! Grudges will destroy you, your relationship with others, and your relationship with God!

Holding a grudge toward someone is most definitely sin, and sin is like a cancer that needs to be cut out. I’ve heard people make this comment, “Well, I’ll forgive, but I’m not gonna forget!” Let me say this very candidly, “If you’re not willing to forget, then you haven’t forgiven!”

God wants the very best for you, and believe it or not He wants you to be happy. God doesn’t carry grudges. He could have held a grudge when sinful man killed His only begotten Son, but He did not! God forgives and forgets and that’s exactly the same way we should be!

Take your grudge or grudges today and give em to the Lord, and let Him help you get over the anger, hurt, and bitterness that have taken control of your life!

Mark 11:26 says, “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins!”
