Voices!

(Voices) Luke 23:13-25, God’s word is surrounded by other voices as people urge us to do what they say. But the Holy Spirit prompts us in the direction God wants us to go and we must decide who to follow. God’s word must prevail, our lives depend on it. David Smith, Patterson, GA

An Impossible Task!

Jesus was out in the wilderness with his disciples and a large crowd!

Late in the day the disciples suggested to Jesus that He sends the crowd away so they can buy food.

Jesus said, “Give them something to eat!”

Now they only had two small fish and five loaves of bread!

The people sat down and ate until their tummies were full.

I want you to notice that our Lord gave the disciples an impossible task.

They must learn like we must learn that He always commands the impossible.

Thanks Julie!

Ever felt let down? Ever disappoint someone, yourself? Psalms 118:8-9 reminds us “It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.” The truth is, ANYTHING in life can be shaken or taken from us…except the truth of WHO GOD SAYS WE ARE and HIS LOVE FOR US.

Today, I want to encourage you to take a moment to focus on God. Remember everything you need that pertains to life and godliness is found in Him. He is FAITHFUL!

This came from a young lady who’s name is Julie! Thanks for sharing!

God’s Wisdom!

(God’s Wisdom) God’s wisdom is exceedingly practical and able to enrich all your relationships with understanding and insight. As you relate to those in your work place or community, ask God to help you live in peace and harmony with the people around you. I Kings 5:12, David Smith, Patterson, GA

What A Pulpit!

Luke 5:1-3, The people were crowding Jesus by the Lake of Gennesaret.

He saw two boats by the lake that had been left by the owners for they were washing their nets.

He got into Peter’s boat and told him to row out a bit from the land, and then He preached to them from the boat.

What a pulpit! Every pulpit is a fishing boat. It should be used to give out the Word of God in an attempt to catch fish.

\We must never forget Christians that the supreme business of life is to fish for the souls of men!

Be blessed this fine day!

North Fork Baptist Church

This past week I was at North Fork Baptist Church with Brother Scott Newton.

I was there on Wednesday night and all day Sunday.

There were 37 decisions made for our Lord and 15 of those were professions of faith. God is Awesome!

Love!

I Corinthians 13:7-8, Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. David Smith, Patterson, GA

Wobble, Wobble!

Do you know for sure you’re a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ?

Do you wobble back and forth wondering if you’ve been saved?

I believe there are three reasons a person might doubt their salvation!

1. You’ve never truly been saved!

2. You’re living in sin!

3. You don’t really know the word of God!

Wobbling back and forth about your salvation has to be frustrating and disheartening!

A Gospel of Action!

And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Jesus is telling his disciples it’s time to get into action.

They are to go and not just sit there on their blessed assurance.

We to in this day and hour are to go and tell others about the things he’s done for us.

My question is, “What are you doing this fine day to get Gods Word out?”
