Isaiah said, “With my soul have I desired you in the night!”

Ladies and gentlemen, do you have that kind of passion for the Lord? Do you really want to know Jesus and His will for your life?

I must confess that there have been times I’ve found myself running from God and trying to hide from Him!

There are times I get ahead of Him and when I do I really make a mess of things!

Sometimes I feel close to Him and there are times I feel far away!

The Christian walk can be difficult! It has it’s highs and it’s lows!

The only thing I do know is this, when I run away from God, or make a mess of things He’s there, and if I feel close to Him or not, He’s there!

He’s with me through the highs and the lows! Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow!

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavey laden, and I will give you rest!”

This is still His invitation to us today. It is a message to be sent out to individuals in this day and time asking them to exercise their free wills.

You may not realize it or not, but you are making a decision today.

You are either accepting Him or rejecting Him! Which one is it?

There is no straddling the fence, you are either on board with Christ or you’re not!

Jesus said, “He that is not with me is against me….”

You folks be blessed this fine day! Here, there, or in the air!

People are gullible! They’ll fall for anything! They’ll even believe a lie!

It all started in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve believed the lie that Satan placed before them and people still believe lies today!

Get this, some people believe the human race came from monkeys! I don’t know about you but I do know that my relatives did not hang from trees with their tails!

Science is now rejecting the creation account, they don’t want anything to do with it!

People are being lied to by politicains and the news media!

There are some who believe it’s OK for a man to marry a man and a woman to marry a woman!

Some pastors even believe they don’t need to preach about Jesus and sin anymore because they feel it offends folks!

The only help available is the Lord Jesus Christ. American needs to turn back to Him. He has been made unto us wisdom, and He is our only hope!

Be blessed, read God’s Word and study it, so that you might not be deceived!

The Old U S of A is like Sodom and Gemorrah and Babylon.

Sodom and Geomorrah was infested with every sexual sin imaginable! Babylon was a town filled with people given over to worshipping idols an false religion!

This is where we as a nation are! Now, don’t get upset. As Judge Judy says, “If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck!”

Both have been destroyed because theree was no life-giving water (Jesus) there for the souls of men! He Was Completed Taken Out Of The Equation!

This is something Every Pastor, Every Church, and Every Church Member should ask Themselves!

Is my Church, or am I a Life-Givig Fountain, or am I useless, like a mirage in the desert of life?

We must examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith! What are you and I doing to bring honor and glory to our Lord Daily?

Fear is a terrible thing.

A person who sits around worrying about this or that can have no joy in the Lord!

They have no trust in the one that created them either!

As I sit in my recliner this morning I can hear an old hoot owl in the distance! I can also hear the morning doves cooing!

Now that old owl and those beautiful little doves don’t fly out of their nest every morning worrying about what they’re going to eat.

They get out and do their part and God does the providing!

The problem with most folks that worry is they don’t do their part. They sit around expecting God to provide and they don’t think they have to do anything!

For instance: God provides for my family and I even when I’m not traveling and I expect Him to. I do my part though, I advertise, email and text people letting them know I’m available. I don’t just sit around and twiddle my thumbs!

I believe when I do my part, God will honor that and most definitely do His!

God Is Faithful and True! Fear Not, For You Are More Important To Him Than Sparrows!

As I continue to read in the Book of Isaiah I see God’s people rejecting His love time and time again.

They reject Him because they have pride in their hearts and they want to do things their way!

God gets fed up with it and judgement comes! When the people get smart and cries out to God He always answers!

This reveals the heart of God. In spite of our sin today, God still loves us and will extend mercy to us if we’ll turn to Him!

We serve an awesome God!

Babylon was destroyed years ago and it will never be rebuilt on its ancient ruins. It was destroyed because it was much like Sodom and Gemorrah!

As a matter a fact God says that no Abrabian shall ever pitch their tent there! Archaeologists of the past who have excavated Babylon say that they were never able to get the Arabians to stay in camp there while digging.

This just goes to prove again that what God says is going to happen will sooner or later take place! His word is faithful and true!

(Isaiah 13:20)

Isaiah 10:5, O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.

Israel had turned their backs on God just like the USA, and God used Assayria as a rod to spank His peoples britches!

This is absolutely amazing! Just as you take up a switch to spank little Bubba or Bubbette who has done wrong, so God is using Assyria as a paddle!

He is using them to discipline His people, not because He hates them, it’s because he loves them!

Believe me when I say Robin and I did not spare the rod around our house. We tore our kids britches up when they needed it, and they needed it a lot. We did this, not because we hated them, we did it because of love!

I wonder what nation God is going to use to spank the nation of America! When this happens, let’s remember the light that has been shone on us and the light so many have rejected!

Remember, Everything He Does And Is Going To Do Will Be Done Because Of His Great Love For Us!

Isaiah 9:2, The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light! they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined!

Jesus has shined his light on America more than any nation! He has blessed us beyond all others and yet we deny Him!

Judgement Day is coming! It will come to all nations that turn their backs on Him! Modern man does not want to hear this, they would rather hear something that tickles their ears!

Check the history books and see what happened to Israel and other nations who left God out! It wasn’t a pretty sight!

I believe our nation is ripe for judgement. If we escape, we will be the only nation in history that has done so.

We’ve been blessed! We’ve seen the light of Jesus more than any others!

To Much Is Given, Much Is Required! Be blessed this fine day and remember, God wants to use you to bring others to Christ!

The Bubba Adventure was fantastic!  Pastor Gene came to our church and led our

children’s worship service for a special bring-a-friend Sunday.  I was so

impressed that the children sang the silly songs LOUDLY, and watched the

illustrations QUIETLY, and seemed to ENTHUSIASTICALLY learn truths from the

Bible from his crazy antics.  He kept their attention for nearly 90

minutes…that’s a miracle!  I posted a video of him on our ministry’s Facebook

page, and it got hundreds of views in a few days!  I whole heartedly recommend

him for any children’s ministry event, and understand that he is a dynamic

speaker for adults retreats, camps, and revivals.  I’ve known Pastor Gene for

five years, and can attest to his enthusiasm, his integrity, and his love for

Jesus.
