The Bible says we need to confess our sins one to another. I have something to confess, I’ve had love affairs in the past, not with a woman but with myself. You see, I love me. There’s a song I’ve heard in the past and I don’t even know the name of it, but it certainly describes mankind!

It goes something like this, “I wanna talk about me, I wanna talk about I, I wanna talk number one oh my me my! What I think, what I like, what I know, what I want, what I see!” We’re  having a love affair and that love affair is with ourselves!

God’s children should not be that way. We should not be having a love affair with ourselves, our love affair should be with Jesus, for you see, that’s what salvation is!  I John 4:19 says, “We love Him, because He first loved us”FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailShare
