Roses!

When I’m home I always try to keep fresh flowers in the middle of the table for Robin. I go down to K Rogers and try to find the best deal. Last week I found 12 roses that were absolutely beautiful and the price was unbelievable. They only cost me four dollars and ninety nine cents.  (It’s The Thought That Counts!)

Everyone has enjoyed those flowers now for over a week. I’m noticing that a few of them are looking droopy! Some of the pedals are turning black on the edge and falling off. Life is a lot like that. We start off in life young, vibrant, handsome and beautiful, and then we end up with wrinkled skin, grey hair, or no hair at all! We begin to droop!

We are just like those roses.  Here today and gone tomorrow! James 4:14 says, “Whereas you know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away!”FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailShare
