| Yesterday I was told that a friend of mine has been diagnosed with cancer! I called my friend and he told me it’s true! He informed me that the cancer is everywhere! I asked him how he was doing and he said, “I am praising the Lord!” He said, “Bubba, the Lord gives life and He takes it away, I can’t live forever” My friends name is Jimmie, and he could live three to ten more years! I asked him what he was going to do! He said, “I’m going to preach until I drop because God isn’t through with me yet!” I called Jimmie to encourage him, but I was the one who received the most encouragement! We must learn to praise God in the good times as well as the bad! Jimmie has! |
