Col. 2:13, And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven all trespasses. All trespasses, or All sins have been forgiven if you know Jesus!

Since that’s the case, why in the world don’t we forgive ourselves and others when we do something stupid or they say and do something that hurts our feelings? Why in the world do we pack it around like carrying rocks in a back pack allowing it to rob us of true joy and happiness?

Since God has forgiven us we need to learn how to forgive as well. God wants us to rejoice in Him and we can’t do that with an unforgiving spirit. God wants us to be close to Him and we can’t be with an unforgiving spirit.

Ya wanna start having a good time in the Lord? Then give in and give it up and allow God to have His way in your life. Ya’ll be blessed!

d creature has been with us since conception. These two creatures will never agree on how we live our lives. The new creature wants to please God and the old one doesn’t! The one who wins is the one we feed daily. If ya feed the new creature by reading Gods Word daily and talking to God he’ll have a better chance at being victorious. If ya don’t read Gods Word daily and talk to God the old creature wins and the old devil will beat the snot out of ya throughout the day! I want the new creature to prevail. What about you?

People wonder why I use object lessons while I preach!

1. God told me to! 2. Object lessons keep their attention! 3. People need to learn that it’s OK to laugh and have fun in church!

Remember, the second Fruit of the Spirit is Joy, and Power is a byproduct of it!

The Devil has fooled many people into thinking they can’t have fun in church!

This is an absolute lie coming from the Father of Lies!

If you’re one of those stiff britches let me give ya some advice!

Loosen the old belt and let your hair down! When a person has joy in their life I believe they hear the voice of God more frequently!

McGee says, “Down in the dumps I will not go, for that is where the devil keeps me low!”

I’ll pray that those who read this will experience real JOY in their lives today and please pray the same for me!

Phil. 4:4, Rejoice in The Lord alway: again I say rejoice!

Have you ever told little Bubba time and time again what he should or shouldn’t do!

The reason you do this is because you want little Bubba to do what’s right!

In Phi. 4:4 we are told to rejoice twice!

We are to rejoice in the good times as well as the bad!

It’s easy to rejoice when things are going our way, but difficult when it’s not!

Joy is one of the Fruits of the Spirit and joy produces power in the life of a Christian especially when things aren’t going well for them that day!

Our Lord knows where you are and what you’re going through! He knows what you need and eventually he’ll provide!

Trust in Him today knowing that He loves you! I can guarantee it, if you do, you’ll have joy and joy produces power!

Have you ever read a passage in scripture many times, over and over, and finally as you read it one day the light comes on!

That happened to me this morning!

Phil. 2:9 says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name!”

The supreme purpose of God the Father on this little planet of ours is to exalt the name of Jesus!

I always thought it was Jesus who came to exalt God the Father!

They both have a desire to exalt one another! The Father, the Son, and the Son, the Father!

Since that is the purpose of our creator and Saviour, we, the created should have that same goal in mind!

Let’s lift God the Father and our Saviour up daily in our lives!

What is a Christian suppose to be like, and what does a Christian look like?

We are to be like a light to those who don’t know Christ!

When you go out at night and look up into the sky you see the stars among the darkness!

That’s the way it should be with those of us who know Christ!

You see, we live in a world full of darkness! There is sin and evil people everywhere!

When God looks down on this dark world He should see those who are His own little lights down here doing His work!

Paul says in Phil. 2:15, “Among whom ye shine as lights in the world!”

As The Stars Are Up There, We Should Be Down Here!

Hello Friends,

As you well know I flew home last Thursday to see my bride and two lovely girls!

We all had a blast, especially me and Robin!

She took off work Friday and it was a 24 hour date!

To tell ya the truth, it was harder leaving this time than it was the first!

I thank all of you for your continued prayers!

I’ll be at Second Baptist in Waycross this morning, and then tonight I will go to church with my brother in Bristol!

Y’all take care of yourselves!

And that every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father! Phil. 2:11

What makes Jesus Lord?

Is it someone confessing Him as Lord with their tongue?

Absolutely not! Scripture says that everyone is going to confess Him as Lord with their tongues!

For you to be saved you must confess Him as Savior with your tongue!

You’d better know Him as your Savior before you say He is your Lord!

If He is your Savior, then you must become obedient to Him as your Lord!

If He is your Savior, then you will be producing Godly fruit!

The Fruits of the Spirit are, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control!

Is He your Savior and Lord?

I saw this comment on Facebook!

A young man said, “Isn’t it OK for a man to live to live with a man and a woman to live with a woman?”

He also said, “Doesn’t God want them to be happy since He created them?”

Yes, God does want us to be happy, but its not OK for men to live men and vice versa!

Some men think it’s OK to cheat on their wives, but its not!

Why? Because its just NOT right!

Proverbs 1:3, To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgement, and equity…

The word justice is righteousness, and it means right behavior!

The things I’ve mentioned above is not right because God says it isn’t right!

So, you might ask yourself! Self, is it right for me to steal, kill, cheat, or commit adultery?

If God says it is right, it is right! If He says it is wrong, it is wrong!

The problem is, the feeling is what the average man does becomes the norm!

This is the reason why there is so much dishonesty and gross immorality in today’s society!

So, if you’re gonna do or say something that is questionable, ask yourself this, “Is it right or wrong in the eyes of The Lord?”

Over the years I’ve learned more from God when he’s taken me to the woodshed!

He’s taken me there because I’m hard headed and I refuse to listen to Him at times!

Our society is certainly out of step with the word of God when it comes to the discipline of children!

Some parents want to discuss things with little Willy while he’s trying to hit them or run from them!

Gods word says we are to apply the board to his britches in love!

Proverbs 13:24, He that spares his rod hates his son: but he that loves him chasteneth him betimes!

Chasten means to give instruction. Instruction means you should teach by discipling the child!

Like I’ve said, God has taken me to the woodshed many times and it didn’t kill me! I am the man I am today because of that!

Gods way is the woodshed! If it works with us it will work with my little Willies of the world and yours as long as the board of education is applied properly!
